Specific Race Course

You can still plan for your next race using the Race Power Calculations Table in the Stryd mobile app with no membership required.
This table updates automatically as your fitness improves, allowing you to:
- Monitor your progression throughout training
- View updated power targets from the mile to marathon
- Get guidance on what wattage to aim for on race day
Note: This table assumes standard environmental conditions (temperature and elevation). Be sure to adjust your target manually if your race will take place in more extreme conditions.
Step 2: Build Your Race Plan with the Stryd Workout Builder
Now that you have locked in your race day power target, it is time to turn that target into a structured race plan you can follow from start to finish.
The Stryd Workout Builder, available in both PowerCenter and the Stryd Mobile app, makes it easy to create a race-specific workout in just a few clicks. Here are a few examples of race day workout setups:
- Simple Race Workout
Build a streamlined workout by setting your target power for the entire race distance. For example, a steady 26.2 miles at your goal wattage. This is perfect if you are aiming for a consistent pacing strategy from start to finish. - Fuel-Aligned Workout
Take your planning a step further by segmenting your race into 30 minute blocks. You can use these segments as fueling reminders during your marathon, syncing your nutrition strategy with your power pacing. - Mile-by-Mile Alerts
For more frequent feedback, create a workout with 27 one mile repeats. This lets your watch alert you each time you hit the next mile marker which will help you stay on target, stay engaged, and respond in real time to how your body is feeling.
No matter your race strategy, the Workout Builder (Stryd Membership feature) puts you in control so you can train and race with confidence, precision, and purpose.
Step 3: Send Your Race Plan to Your Watch
With your structured workout ready, Stryd makes it easy to export your plan directly to your compatible sports watch to give you real-time pacing guidance on your wrist.
