For All Stryders:

Race Power Calculations Table Available For All Stryders

Race Power Calculations are now available for all Stryders.

In a convenient table on the Summary tab of the Stryd mobile app, you can now view your expected race times for distances from 1 Mile to Marathon and the power output you would need to sustain to achieve each performance.

This feature makes it convenient to monitor how your fitness is improving as you progress through your training plan. Your race power table will update every time Stryd detects an improvement in your race day capabilities.

Even more importantly, it will serve as an invaluable tool when planning for your next race. You will know the exact power values you need to run at in order to have your best performance when race day comes.

This feature is available today for all Stryders on the Summary tab of the Stryd mobile app.

Note: Be sure to check out and fulfill the requirements for an accurate race prediction as you prepare for your next race!

For New Stryders:

It is now easier than ever to get started with Stryd

Have you been curious about running with power? We have made it easier than ever to get started with Stryd with a new feature in the Stryd mobile app.

You can now start with a full Stryd profile from the first day you start running with Stryd.

What does that mean?

You will start with a Critical Power value and power zones so you can immediately grab a 5K to Marathon plan and start running with Stryd.

You will start with a Power Duration Curve that maps out your abilities and tells the Stryd ecosystem what kind of runner you are.

You will start with a Running Stress Balance gauge that tells you what kind of performance zone you are in right now so you can learn if you are overtraining or race ready!

How does it work?

For new Stryders, we have built a new tool that allows you to import your last 90 days of running data from your Strava account.

Stryd’s platform analyzes that data and determines your capabilities and translates them into power-based terms.

This feature makes it easier than ever to start with Stryd by giving you all the critical information you need to start running with power from day one.

Note: This feature is only available for new Stryders making their account for the first time. If you already have a Stryd account, your account is already being established with the data from your Stryd pod!

For Stryd Membership users:

New Lower Body Stress Score Visualization & Filtering Tools

Have you been enjoying the new Lower Body Stress Score (LBSS) feature of the Next Gen Stryd?

Now, we have added a new and more convenient way to visualize your LBSS in the Stryd mobile app.

When you open up the Analysis tab in the Stryd app, you can now view your LBSS trends.

The addition of LBSS to the Analysis tab gives you access to some incredibly powerful features, such as date filtering and run type filtering.

Date filtering gives you powerful new ways to see how your stress is trending. You can see how your stress is trending over the last 30 days, 90 days, and 6 months to see how your stress has been impacted by your recent training, — and you can even view past training blocks by using the custom range selector to inform how you should train for your next race.

Run type filtering lets you go a level deeper by comparing stress across similar runs. For example, you can see if your easy and recovery runs have been getting more or less stressful over time to help you spot potentially dangerous trends before they have an adverse impact on your training.

Note: This new feature is available in the Analysis tab on the Stryd mobile app, which is offered as part of the Stryd Membership. Stryd Membership users will also benefit from the new date and run type filtering to analyze the rest of their metrics, such as power.

The first update of many to come this year!

This update is the first exciting update of many to come from the Stryd team in 2023.

We built these new tools to help you race faster, get started with power training quicker, and gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of your power data.

Update to the latest version of the Stryd app on your Android or iOS to start using these incredible new features today.
