Lock Into Your Race Day Rhythm With New Interval Workouts

This October, we are excited to launch five new interval workouts to help you lock into your race day effort so you can step up to your next starting line confident, prepared, and ready to go.
From 5K sharpening to marathon preparation, we have created workouts for every race distance. Each is designed around the precise effort you will need to master for race day. By practicing these distance-specific efforts now, you will fine-tune your power pacing skills and be ready to execute when it matters most.
Let’s dive into the new workouts released this month.

Interval Workouts to Sharpen Your Race Day Readiness
Check out these new workouts to head to your next starting line confident, prepared, and locked in.
- Endurance Intervals: You will start with a 15 minute warmup followed by three to four sets of 8 minutes at your marathon power with 2 minutes easy. You will end with a 10 minute cool down.
- Threshold Builder: You will start with a 15 minute warmup followed by four to five sets of 5 minutes at your half marathon power with 90 seconds easy. You will end with a 15 minute cool down.
- Speed Sharpening: You will start with a 15 minute warmup followed by two sets of 20 second strides with 75 seconds easy. Then, you will run five to six sets of 600 meters at your 5K power with a 400 meter easy jog. You will end with a 10 minute cool down.
- Surge & Settle: You will start with a 20 minute warmup followed by five to six sets of 800 meters at your 10K power with a 400 meter easy jog. You will end with a 10 minute cool down.
- Tempo Intervals: You will start with a 20 minute warmup followed by two sets of 12 minutes at your marathon power with 3 minutes easy. You will end with a 10 minute cool down.
