Kick Off the New Year with New Workouts and a Chance to Win a New Stryd 5.0!

To start the year off on a high note, we’re bringing you four new Workouts of the Week designed to help you ease back into structured training and set yourself up for a strong, successful year ahead. As an added bonus, running the new January Workouts of the Week also gives you a chance to win a brand new Stryd 5.0.

Whether you took some downtime this holiday season or you’re ready to jump back in after a few weeks away, you’ll find a workout in the library that fits where you are right now. These sessions are built to help you rebuild rhythm, reestablish consistency, and regain confidence, with the opportunity to be rewarded for your consistency along the way

Let’s dive into the new workouts released to the Workout Library this month. 


Run the New January Workouts in the Workout Library for the Chance to Win a Stryd 5.0

Each workout below is designed to help you ease back into structured training in a runner-friendly way with a mix of speed, strength, and stamina. Run and share each week’s Workout of the Week to enter for a chance to win a brand new Stryd 5.0.

  • January 7th, Middle Peak: You will start with a 12 minute warmup followed by a pyramid fartlek. The fartlek will have you running 5 minutes at your uptempo effort, 3 minutes at your marathon effort, and 1 minute at your half marathon effort. Then, climb back up the ladder with 3 minutes at marathon effort and 5 minutes at uptempo effort. You will end with a 12 minute cool down.
  • January 14, Snappy Strides: You will start with a 15 minute progressive warmup. Then, you will run 8 sets of 200 meters at your 5K effort with 90 seconds easy in between. You will end with a 10 minute cool down.
  • January 21st, Uphill Basics: You will start with a 15 minute warmup. Then, you will run four 20 second uphill strides with 60 seconds easy jog back down to the start after each stride. Next, you will run 6 minutes at marathon effort over flat terrain, followed by 2 minutes easy before running four more 20 second uphill strides with 60 seconds easy back to the start. You will end with a 15 minute cool down.
  • January 28th, Triple Stack: You will start with a 14 minute progressive warmup followed by five 1 minute repeats at your 10K power, three 90 second repeats at your half marathon power, and five 30 second repeats at your 5K power. You will end with a 10 minute cool down.
