The Stryd app for Apple Watch now supports guided treadmill workouts with customizable incline targets, previously available only in the Stryd mobile app. You can create a workout in Stryd PowerCenter—such as a 20-minute warm-up at 1% incline followed by 4-minute 10K-intensity intervals at 3% incline—and execute it directly from your Apple Watch.

The app provides clear, real-time prompts to adjust your treadmill’s incline and hit your power targets, ensuring a distraction-free training experience.

The Stryd app for Apple Watch makes treadmill training intuitive and engaging, guiding you through every step of your workout with precision:

  • Start Your Workout: Open the Stryd app for Apple Watch, select a treadmill workout from your synced Stryd PowerCenter calendar or the pre-built treadmill workout library (12 workouts included for all Stryd users). Stryd Membership users can also create custom workouts built in PowerCenter & the Stryd mobile app.
  • Analyze and Save: Once complete, your workout data—including elevation climbed—syncs to Stryd PowerCenter for detailed analysis. Save custom workouts to your personal library for quick reuse.
  • Follow Real-Time Prompts: As you run, the app’s display shows your power target, a gauge indicating how close you are to your goal, and the exact incline to set on your treadmill. When a new segment begins, clear prompts (e.g., “Set incline to 2%”) ensure smooth transitions without breaking your stride.
  • Stay Focused with Metrics: View additional real-time data like pace, distance, or cadence alongside your power output. The app’s bold, updated font makes it easy to glance at your metrics on the go.
  • Get Audio Cues: Enable improved speech annunciation for “eye-free” guidance. Audio prompts alert you to incline changes, power targets, and lap summaries, so you can stay locked in without constantly checking your watch.
