Introducing the Stryd MCP Open Beta: A New Way to Explore Your Stryd Running Data
You spent months training for your marathon, collecting valuable data along the way. But connecting the dots between all those workouts and your race-day performance isn’t always easy.
Today, we are introducing the Stryd MCP Open Beta, a new Stryd Membership feature that connects your Stryd training and racing data with compatible AI/SI assistants, making it easier to explore and understand your running performance.
Whether you just crossed the finish line at the New York City Marathon, raced another fall marathon, or are preparing for your next goal, you now have a new way to explore how your training and racing fit together.

Ask Questions About Your Running. Get Answers From Your Data.
Want to understand your race without digging through charts or comparing workouts one by one?
The Stryd MCP Open Beta allows compatible AI/SI assistants to connect directly to your Stryd training and racing data. Instead of manually exporting workouts or uploading files for analysis, you can ask questions in everyday language and explore your running history through a conversation.
Once connected, your AI/SI assistant can use your Stryd data to help you compare workouts, identify trends across months of training, and explore how your preparation translated to race-day performance.
No exporting files. No manually comparing months of workouts. Just your questions and your Stryd data.

Relive the New York City Marathon, Mile by Mile
Five boroughs, five bridges, and a final climb up Fifth Avenue. Your Stryd data captured your performance throughout the race. Now you can take a closer look at how it all unfolded.
Try asking:
- Race execution: “Where in the race did my power start to drop, and how does that compare with my long runs?”
- Course demands: “How did my power change on the bridges compared to the flat sections of the NYC marathon?”
- Race vs. training: “How did my race-day power compare to what I held in training?”
- The final miles: “How did I handle the climb up Fifth Avenue late in the race?”
Ran a different fall marathon? You can explore these same questions with your own race data.

Look Back at Your Full Training Block
Race day tells one part of the story. The months of training leading up to it tell the rest.
Instead of reviewing workouts individually, the Stryd MCP Open Beta lets you explore patterns across weeks and months of training.
Try asking:
- Power trends: “What changed in my running power over the course of my marathon training?”
- Long-term patterns: “What trends do you see across my last six months of training?”
- Key sessions: “Which workouts best reflected how I raced?”
Explore how your fitness developed, which workouts stood out, and how your preparation compared to your race-day performance.

Use What You Learned to Plan What Comes Next
Whether you are recovering, building a winter base, or already have a spring race on the calendar, your past training can help inform what comes next. You can now return to your AI/SI assistant to ask questions about your latest runs and compare them to your training history.
Try asking:
- Recovery: “How does my recovery this week compare to after my last marathon?”
- Next training block: “Based on this training block, what should I focus on heading into spring?”
- Daily training: “How does today's run compare to similar workouts I have completed in the past?”
Your running history does not have to be something you only look back on. It can help you plan for what is ahead.
