Chasing Records | First Long Run After the #2 All-Time Fastest 100K

Watch Charlie's First Long Run Post 100K World Record Attempt
After running the #2 all-time fastest 100K and becoming the fastest American ever to cover the distance, Charlie Lawrence is back and taking us along for his latest long run.
Before returning to full training, Charlie had to focus on dialing in his recovery. The 100K left his hips and quads wrecked, and his Stryd data confirmed it. His Leg Spring Stiffness (LSS) and other key metrics dropped well below baseline, signaling that his body was not ready for hard efforts yet.
Using Stryd’s LSS and other metrics to guide his comeback, Charlie tracked his recovery week by week. As his numbers improved, he knew his legs were ready to handle more. That progress shows in his latest 18 mile long run, where he closed with a strong 3 mile push at marathon effort.
Watch the full long run and subscribe to Charlie’s YouTube channel to follow his comeback journey and see how he’s using Stryd data to train smarter and stronger.
