Today, we are introducing a new feature to the Stryd ecosystem to make power-based coaching easier than ever!
This new coaching feature enables Stryd coaches to easily visualize all of their athletes' recent training to quickly determine which athletes are on the right track with their training and which need further attention. They will be able to quickly see details such as fitness improvements in Critical Power and how the athlete is complying to their training plan.
Here are the metrics easily accessible in the new Athlete Management view on the Stryd PowerCenter:
- NEW See all of your athletes in a single, simple view on the Stryd PowerCenter
- NEW See how the athlete’s fitness is progressing with last update time of Critical Power
- NEW See how the athlete’s recent training has been going by looking at the duration, RSS, and more of the last three activities
- NEW See how the recent training matches up against the plan in the Planned / Actual widget
Let’s take a deeper look at this new feature set and read on to learn how you can access this new feature as part of the Stryd Coaching Program.
See all of your athletes in a single, simple view on the Stryd PowerCenter
With this new update, you can quickly and easily monitor all of your athletes' training. You receive a view of all of your athletes when you visit the PowerCenter along with critical information on their training.
We have made the view more visual with the athlete’s profile picture so you can quickly recognize each athlete as you scroll through the list.
To view more stats, you can tap on the athlete's card to expand and view more information such as recent activities and a graph of recent RSS scores.
Tip: To view the runner’s full Stryd profile, you can tap on their name or jump straight to their training calendar by tapping on the Calendar button.
See how the athlete’s fitness is progressing with last update time of Critical Power
Have your athletes’ fitness been progressing? It is easy to find out with this new view! You can instantly see all of your athletes' Critical Power and the last time they have been updated.
You will now know who to congratulate on a Critical Power increase and whose projected race plans have been updated!
Tip: Critical Power is also displayed in terms of w/kg so you can benchmark the athlete’s Critical Power with ease.
See how the athlete’s recent training has been going by looking at the duration, RSS, and more of the last three activities
Analyzing your athletes' recent activities is easier than ever.
In just a tap, you can view your athlete’s three most recent activities, including info like date, duration, and RSS (Running Stress Score). You can also get an idea of the relative intensity of the run by looking at the % of Critical Power metric to differentiate between long and easy runs from interval and other high intensity workouts.
Once you have identified the recent activity you want to analyze, you can view the full activity in just one more tap. The full activity analysis will instantly pop up over the screen!
Tip: You can also see temperature and humidity values for each run to get an idea of the conditions for that run!
See how the recent training matches up against the plan in the Planned / Actual widget
You can see if your athletes' recent training is on track with the help of the planned / actual widget. The last seven days are shown so you can quickly compare the stress values of the runner’s completed activities and see how this matches up against the plan.
Tip: Check if any planned runs were missed or if any unplanned runs were added in with this view!
