Happy Global Running Day, Let’s Get Running!

Happy Global Running Day, Let’s Get Running!

Today is Global Running Day! Let’s celebrate this day of movement with a new workout of the week.

The new workout is the I’ve Got The Power.

This quick, 35-minute workout consists of a 20-minute progressive tempo run that will have you slowly ramping up in intensity every 5-minutes. After the tempo run, you will run 2-minutes easy before running three sets of 20-second pickups.

If you are looking for a longer workout, you can use the Stryd Workout Builder to increase the warmup to 20-minutes and the progressive tempo run to 30-minutes. Keep in mind that the goal for this workout is to build as you go, so it is recommended to start at the lower end of the power target range.

Add the I’ve Got The Power workout to your calendar to celebrate this day of movement and to get out the door running.
