You have the time, but do you have the motivation?

"I love to run. It is one of the few things that I do not need to look for motivation. I don't look outside and say, 'Oh gee, I have to go out and run.' I look outside and say, 'I can't wait to get out there.' "

-- Dr. Anthony Fauci, from a 2016 interview

Dr. Fauci has been thrust into the spotlight recently amid the coronavirus outbreak, as part of the US's Coronavirus Task Force.

And, Dr. Fauci has also caught the attention of the running world because he is a lifelong running fanatic.

According to this tweet, his routine used to consist of running 7 miles a day back in the 1980's and 90's.

Now, at the age of 79, he is averaging around 3.5 miles a day.

He recently said that he has had to put his running routine aside due to his long hours (19+ a day, reportedly) working on fighting the outbreak.

He will probably be back to running soon as he has noted in interviews that running is a major source of stress relief for him.

I imagine that Dr. Fauci is one of the few folks who actually has less time on his hands to run right now.

For everyone else, you oughta have all the time you need.

Now, the question is, do you have the motivation to lace up your shoes and head out for a run?
